Reattaching the Scalp - You will need large rubber bands and glue.  I have used E-6000 Craft Adhesive and Aleene's Tacky Glue.  I prefer the E-6000 because, in my experience, it seems to hold better/stronger.  They both dry clear, rubbery and flexible.  I have found, when removing the scalp later, that the E-6000 is easier to remove, as it peels up and off with ease.

You do NOT want to use super glue.  It will dry crusty and will cause the rubber of the scalp to harden and crack.

Before you attempt to glue the scalp back on, you want to make sure that the scalp is going to fit back onto the head properly. Try it on.

If you have problems getting the flange to fit into the gutter, you may want to shave down the grips/nubs in the front gutter of the head.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL.
Do NOT rush. You do not want the razor to slip and scratch or gouge your Blythe's face plate. You also do not want to cut yourself.

Once I have a good fit, I put the hair up into a high ponytail.  I don't want any hair getting in the way.

I apply the glue around the head, in the gutter, and place the scalp on the head.  I work my way around the head, pushing down and making sure the flange is in place.

Using rubber bands, I secure the scalp from side to side and front to back. If your blythe has already had custom makeup, lips repainted, been sprayed matte, etc. and you are worried about the rubber bands damaging her makeup, you can bring the rubber bands down around the body, between the legs, instead of just down to the chin. I leave the rubber bands in place for at least 24 to 48 hours.
